When the laser tries to read the disc, a 1 bit will be reflected back to a reader lense and a 0 won't (again, might be reversed on that, lol, I don't make CD-Rs, Wikipedia can straighten this out). To write a CD-R, the burn laser reacts with the dye in the disc to darken a "1" bit and the lighter is left a "0" (I might've reversed that). It has nothing to do with wearing out the laser, it has more to do with the way CD-Rs work. cdi has errors or something, even though I've burned it with Alcohol 120% no problem. While we're on this discussion, is it normal to have to change preferences when burning normal DC bootlegs with diskjuggler? I was able to do it with Alcohol 120%, but then the trial ran out and the bootleg won't work right. cdi file, you should just have to un-zip or un-rar the file from the torrent and open it in diskjuggler, then click burn. Is the Sega Sports Dreamcast compatible with self-booting discs? Check the build date on the bottom, I believe if its built before October 2000 it is compatible, if not, you'll need another Dreamcast (I think its possible with the newer ones, but I've heard its a BOATLOAD more trouble).

Even then, its obviously not full framerate. I can tell you right now its not very worth it, DreamSNES is pretty shitty for anything but Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and RPGs. cdi file or did you download one from a torrent, etc?
